Created for The Witches’ Feast — Ostara with Blodeuwedd, this limited seasonal collection explores the woman you are becoming when you finally give yourself permission to stop being who you were expected to be.

Ostara marks the Spring Equinox — the moment when light and darkness stand in balance before the days begin to tip towards increasing light.

It’s the season of growth, fertility and new life. The world begins to move outward again — buds open, flowers emerge, and what has been growing beneath the surface begins to reveal itself.

This collection works with Blodeuwedd, Welsh goddess of flowers, beauty, transformation and feminine sovereignty, and the extraordinary story of a woman created from flowers to live a life pre-chosen for her — only to eventually step beyond the role she had been created to fulfil. She is a figure of beauty, autonomy, transformation and emergence.

Her complex story invites a powerful Ostara question:

Who are you becoming when you stop shaping yourself around the life you were given?

And she asks an uncomfortable question:

What happens when the woman emerging within you no longer fits the life you were given?

Because emergence is not always comfortable.

Sometimes the woman beginning to appear within you wants different things.

Different desires. Different boundaries. Different ambitions. A different way of living.

And sometimes becoming more fully yourself means asking whether the life around you has room for who you are becoming.

🌸 Her Energy in This Collection

Blodeuwedd is not a gentle goddess of simply “becoming your best self”.

Her story is complicated. She was created for a purpose that was chosen for her — made from flowers to become the wife of Lleu.

But she was not content to exist only within the role created for her.

She developed a will of her own.

She chose.

She acted.

And once she began choosing for herself, her story could no longer remain the one that had been written for her.

Blodeuwedd is not a goddess of easy empowerment.

She is a goddess who asks us to look at what happens when a woman begins to want a life that belongs to herself.

Everything is individually prepared, wrapped and assembled by hand, with the intention that opening your kit feels like receiving something sacred.

🌹 The Rose-Petal Bracelet

At the heart of this collection is something quite unusual.

A bracelet made with genuine rose-petal beads — beads created from rose petals themselves.

The roses used for these beads were gathered from previous Witches’ Feasts — flowers that once sat at our shared celebrations and are now being transformed into something you can carry into your own practice.

They are created by processing genuine rose petals until they break down into a dense, workable, clay-like material. The process can take many days — sometimes weeks — from flower to finished bead.

Once shaped, the beads are slowly dried and transformed into something that can be worn and carried.

There is no rushing the process.

Rose-petal beads are particularly associated with devotional jewellery and are perhaps best known for their use in rosaries, which is where the term rose beads became especially familiar, transforming the rose into an object used for prayer, contemplation and connection.

And there is something beautiful about that history for this collection.

Because this bracelet began as a flower — delicate and beautiful.

It was then transformed through a slow, dedicated process.

Only to re-emerge as something new, changed, stronger, but still just as beautiful.

And that is part of why I wanted this to become the seasonal piece for Blodeuwedd.

It represents the heart of Blodeuwedd.

A woman created from flowers.

A woman transformed into something unexpected.

A woman who cannot return to being exactly what she was before.

Because transformation can ask something of us.

Sometimes we have to reconsider the stories we have carried about ourselves, the expectations we have accepted, and the things we once believed we needed to remain.

We learn things we cannot unknow. We see ourselves differently. We discover desires, boundaries and possibilities that were not visible to us before.

And once we have changed, we cannot simply return to the life we had before.

The answer is not always to reshape ourselves to fit what once felt familiar.

Sometimes, our lives need to change around us — to make room for who we have become.

We do not return to the delicate flower.

We re-emerge as something new.

Stronger. Changed. Still beautiful.

And there is something else that makes rose-petal beads particularly magical to wear.

The natural fragrance of the roses may become more noticeable when the beads are warmed by your hands or skin. With continued handling, the beads may become darker and more polished over time as they come into contact with the oils of the skin.

Each bracelet is made by hand in very small quantities, making every piece slightly different.

For me, creating them is part of the devotional practice itself: taking something once gathered for celebration and patiently transforming it into something that can be carried forward.

Each bracelet is therefore completely unique, and every rose-petal bead carries its own subtle variations in colour, shape and texture.

Each kit takes significant time to create, assemble and prepare, with every individual element packaged by hand and finished with the ritual details that make an Ink Moon ceremonial collection what it is.

The Blodeuwedd Ritual Oil will also be produced as a small seasonal batch only.

This is not a mass-produced seasonal bundle.

It is a small, intentionally created devotional collection designed to be lived with throughout the season.
