About Mabon and the Goddess Demeter:
Mabon, celebrated during the autumn equinox, marks a time of balance between light and dark and reflects on the abundance of the harvest. It is a moment to express gratitude for the earth's bounty and to prepare for the coming winter months.

Demeter, the Greek goddess of the harvest and agriculture, embodies the spirit of Mabon. As a nurturing mother and guardian of the earth, she teaches us to appreciate the fruits of our labours and the cycles of life. Her presence invites us to celebrate our harvests, both physical and spiritual, and to honour the balance of giving and receiving.

🌾 Optional Contribution: If you’d like, bring a dish that connects to your heritage, culture, or personal story. This could be a starter, main, dessert, or even a special beverage! During the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to share the story behind your dish if you wish. Please provide details when purchasing your ticket or email us no later than two weeks before the event.
